As a British Eco Company that works in a sustainable and ethical way we think it's important that all Ec-Celebs are supported however small their contribution. Afterall if every Celeb promoted just a tiny Ethical Thing they did, than surely it would become the norm for everyday people

11th Hour does an admirable job tracing our environmental woes back to our individual habits; the "Nature's Instructions" extra feature was especially interesting... there is some amazing technology built into nature

I found some stuff about Ed Begley Jr. while doing my research, but to be honest, I hadn't heard much about him before, and I didn't want to write about someone I was unfamiliar with... That's why I said this was a list of my favorites. I know there are plenty of folks in Hollywood doing the green thing, and some are certainly greener than others... he would definitely be up there with the greenest!

begley would have been my vote as well. hmmm, will think again. i agree that any dialog the 'green-celebs' are stirring is a good direction and at least promotes baby steps. hopefully will go beyond the trend and maintain longevity. love your blog, insights and awareness. ill visit often -- thanks for your efforts.

Excellent point. In fact, I just did some diligence on Begley and discovered that he has been driving an electric car since 1970, has a solar powered house, shows up to Hollywood events on a bicycle and even has his own line of non-toxic, environmentally friendly cleaning products Begley's Best (http://www.begleysbest.com/). How's that for walking the walk. His Environmental site has a wealth of information too. Clearly, he is the real thing. Go, Ed.

Edward Norton-- v talented actor (though trailers of The Hulk look TERRIBLE!). I didn't realize he was "green". Maybe the other ones listed are better at getting press for their work?

But don't forget the g-father of 'em all: Ed Begley Jr! This other Ed walks the walk and talks the talk-- has been doing so well before it was "fashionable".
