There have been many unfavorable media reports about alleged Tvind-run clothes collecting groups in the U.S. Here are just a few (highlight a title, right-click it, select “Search Google”):

● Planet Aid — the largest alleged Tvind-run charity — says it has over 13,000 donation bins in 20 states:

1) FOX 5 Investigation: Planet Aid
2) Planet Aid: Charity Denies Cult Connection
3) Charity Watchdog Accuses Planet Aid Of Misleading Its Donors
4) Team 4: Why One Charity Gets An 'F' - Pittsburgh News Story
5) abc49 topeka - Video Dailymotion

● USAgain — a for-profit company also said to be run by Tvind — claims to have over 10,000 clothes donation bins placed in 15 states. USAgain is phasing in newly designed bins nationwide. USAgain’s older design is shown in reports 1 - 3 (below), while its new bin design is shown in report #5:

1) Millions In Clothing Donations Diverted From Charity – kirotv
2) Local Mayor Wants Red Bins Out - USAgain – YouTube
3) No charity cases: Some clothing boxes are not what they seem to be
4) BBB: Charity bins suspect - International Cultic Studies Association
5) Danish Cult Could Be Illegally Placing Donation Boxes on S.F. Sidewalks

● Campus California — another alleged Tvind charity — says it has 1,000+ bins placed in the San Francisco Bay Area as well as a few hundred in Phoenix, AZ (nowhere else, apparently):

1) A Contact 17 Investigation of donation bins | KGET TV 17
2) Your Rags to Their Riches: Donated Clothes May Fund International Fugitive

● Gaia Living Earth Green World Action — yet another charity said to run by Tvind — has bins in Fresno, Sacramento & elsewhere in the Central Valley. This group is also active in Chicago as well as parts of Indiana:

1) Clothing operations linked to controversial Danish group continue to thrive

● Tvind is said to operate two volunteer training “schools” in the U.S. — one in Dowagiac, MI & the other in Williamstown, MA — each called “Institute for International Cooperation & Development.” These schools, which also collect clothing in their respective regions, have attracted considerable bad press as well:

In Akron ohio I saw a Large semi-Like a Roadway type truck with the name planet air. I knew I had some old womenns clothes to donate and was ready to put them into a box(they were over stuffed). I wondered how a charity could afford to buy all the expensive diesel fuel. I believe Planet air non profit profit for the owners . Its layered and keeps 70 percent for its own. It might keep it all since the petersons invented Planet aid years ago and have their fingers in it .

Hi there. I am an elderly malaysian and very interested in those candy wrappers bags. Would like to learn how to make so as to teach my club members who are all elderly members of a senior citizens club. Would you be kind enough to email me some simple patterns on this craft. Thanks.
